About Us
St. Mary's Episcopal Church is located at 203 Dennison Street, Colonial Beach, Virginia. St. Mary's is the oldest standing church building in Colonial Beach, Va. The cornerstone was laid in 1910, and the church was consecrated and dedicated in 1911. We were a mission church until 1971 and are now an independent church in the Diocese of Virginia. We have an active membership of about 150 households. Our church is family oriented -- we have a nursery in the Parish Hall, Sunday School for kindergarten through high school, adult Bible study, a youth group for teenagers, choir, and an Episcopal Church Women's group.
