2016 Annual Meeting
St. Mary's conducts an annual meeting every year in January between both services. Copies of the report are available a week in advance so that questions can be prepared. The Parish approves the new vestry members and witnesses their oath. The presentation of the Vestry Member and Parishioner of the year awards takes place. Participants listen to reports, pose questions and engage in discussion. The Vestry often leads the second half of the meeting. This year, Junior Warden, Erin Bartley, shared the results of a recent survey and two focus group meetings with the congregation. Senior Warden, Mary Parker, provided highlights about churches on the decline versus those in growth and encouraged everyone to consider ways in which we can continue to grow.
