Church and Worship

Our worship services apply Rite II, beginning on page 355 of The Book of Common Prayer. The 1979 edition is our guide to worship. On Sundays, we also offer a 'service bulletin' that contains the sequence of worship, including the hymns, readings, and page numbers. The Sunday 8:00am and Tuesday 11:00am services do not include music. The choir leads the congregation in song during the 10:30am liturgy.  The Prayers of the People may come from The Book of Common Prayer or other reputable Christian sources.  Through Holy Communion, we are joined with each other, with Christians throughout the world and throughout history, and with Jesus Christ, the head of the Church. All Christians are welcome to join us in Holy Communion. We rarely use our communion rail, but rather, offer the bread and wine while standing before the Priest and Lay Eucharistic Minister.  Following both Sunday services, a healing service and/or opportunities for private prayer with the Priest are offered.
